The “Follow the Teat” Management System
To maximise the physiological benefits of the Milk Bar Calf Feeder, newborns should always start on a brand-new Milk Bar™ teat. The teat micro-grooves gradually wear in to accommodate the growing calf’s jaw strength. The calf naturally transitions its need for saliva from the drinking phase to the ruminating (chewing the cud) phase.
For the ultimate results, simply move the specific teat along with the calf as it transitions from individual rearing huts into peer group pens!
