Castration Pliers

Slide a fresh, high-tensile rubber elastrator ring onto the four stainless steel prongs at the tip of the pliers.

Firmly compress the ergonomic handles to expand the rubber ring into a wide square opening.

For castration: Pass the expanded ring over the scrotum, ensuring both testicles are clearly positioned below the ring level before releasing tension around the neck of the scrotum.

For tail docking: Position the ring at the correct anatomical tail joint according to regional welfare standards.

Gently release handle pressure to seat the ring securely in place, then draw the prongs forward and clear of the animal.

• Castration Timing: Rubber ring castration must be carried out on very young animals (typically within the first week of life, subject to local animal welfare legislation). Always consult a qualified veterinarian or regional codes of practice before performing surgical or bloodless castration.
