Description

Envirex Powder is a highly absorbent and hygienic bedding powder designed for all types of livestock and helps maintain a dry, healthy environment. It does not paste up to form clumps after drying, helping it reduce greasiness in animal accommodation, promoting a non-slip environment

The Base Powder formulation is comprised of ingredients which;

• Ensure longevity of the product even under high humidity conditions
• Do not paste up to form clumps after drying
• Reduce greasiness in animal accommodation, aiding in promoting a non-slip environment.
• Have a greater absorptive capacity than that of any other clay.
• Help prevent the skin from drying, keeping it supple and less likely to suffer from lacerations.

Dairy Cows

• Keeping housing dry reduces the risk of infections. Envirex absorbs moisture and helps to keep housing dry, minimising the potential microbial bioburden.
• Keeping floors drier will help reduce hoof problems. Furthermore, Envirex could have potential for use as a dry disinfectant footbath to improve hoof hygiene.

Poultry

• Envirex helps keep litter dry around drinkers and feeders, which encourages chicks to eat and drink.
• Can act as a dry disinfectant, as part of an overall biosecurity programme aimed at reducing and minimising Campylobacter levels.

Pigs

• Envirex should be applied to the mats and floor area to improve hygiene and reduce moisture in the environment. This ensures a rapid drying of piglets and minimises heat loss. Drying minimises the potential bacterial challenge, thereby benefiting survival, growth and development.
• When moving piglets to the growing unit, a light dusting of Envirex will calm the piglets and make all the piglets smell the same – reducing stress, aggression and biting.
