Intershape Soft Mountain Mattress
Is a customer driven, hybrid development of Nicolon and Softbed Mattress systems. The reinforced 3mm rubber top cover is filled with deep latex and finished with PU foam. The main objective is to increase milk yield, through increased lying time.
The Problem
Customers are wanting greater cow comfort, for increased cow welfare and milk yields. Filling must be able to support the mattress top cover, as greater distortion is experienced with a thicker filling. To further comfort levels, a finer top cover is used to allow the mattress to follow the contours of the cow. However the top cover needs to cope with potential wear from all year housing.

The Solution
- Mountain mattress is a continuous roll mattress reducing joins and areas for bacteria and injury to occur whilst cows are housed.
- Thick layer of Latex foam to give support and retain shape, finished off with a layer of PU foam to achieve a soft contour hugging topper.
- Easy to clean hygienic non porous rubber top cover, DLG approved.
- 75 shore A, reinforced rubber top cover is hardwearing.
- Non slip light texture top surface, is good at retaining additional bedding.
- 7 year conditional warranty.
